We discover the women who have helped shape France’s history through this historic market place. Uncover the history of women's role in the French Revolution Follow a local guide through one of Paris’ largest food markets Uncover the flavors of Paris through multiple tastings throughout the tour The tour will begin at the Marché d’Aligre in the Faubourg Saint Antoine, one of Paris’ oldest food markets. Here we will visit three different food stalls, sampling both sweet and savory dishes all the while discussing the women of the market, both past and present.
