Designed to promote the richness of the béarnais heritage – historical, touristic, gastronomic, oenological – (parenthesis) invites residents and visitors to a sensory and poetic experience of the art of living “the open door and the heart with it”. In Lacommande, a high place of passage for centuries, history is very present: Gaston IV the Crusader, the priory of Sainte-Christine-du-Somport, and the commandery-hospital still welcoming the pilgrims of Saint James.
