Left Bank Small Group Food Tour
Operated by Club Des Meal Experiences
Overview
This experience is like stepping into the shoes of a discerning, Left Bank foodie who’s shopping for a special dinner party. From the Pantheon to Pont Neuf, we visit six renowned artisans (3 of them MOF: Meilleur Ouvrier de France), tasting the way through the magical Latin Quarter and Saint Germain des Près, while learning the stories behind every bite. The tour culminates with a private tasting, inside a historic two-masted péniche/riverboat, of cold champagne and all the products we’ve collected along the way. This tour begins with introductions and a fresh croissant, named the best in Paris, at the breathtaking Place Sainte-Geneviève. As we stroll the historic streets, we will taste charcuterie from an artisanal butcher, a variety of cheeses from a nationally recognized fromager, chocolates from a renowned and eccentric chocolatier, macarons and pastries from a life-long pastry chef, and rare champagne from independent producers.
